Mark Jones
Mark Jones is an architect in Chicago with nearly 40 years of urban sketching experience. Learning and practicing sketching was required in architecture school at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where students were encouraged and required to maintain sketchbooks during classes, filling the books with project ideas and designs, sketches, class notes, inspiration and urban sketches. A study abroad program in 1986-1987 based in Versailles, France provided the focus to document his travels and studies through Europe.
