Paul Ingold has a B.A. in Design (Visual Communication) and has been a UX/Visual designer in the corporate world for over 10 years. Paul currently works within a Chicago Health Service corporation IT team as a UX/UI designer.  His day to day work involves creating user friendly enterprise web solutions. 

Paul’s love of art began in childhood. He has always been fascinated with both scientific and simple watercolor illustrations, and began taking private oil painting lessons in third grade.  Around 2014 Paul stumbled upon a book called the “Art of Urban Sketching” by Gabriel Campanario. Shortly after this, he met the USk Chicago group at the Lincoln Park Zoo. The rest is history.  Paul has been an admin with USk Chicago since 2016.  Today he is focused on honing his urban sketching skills with watercolor and various ink pens. 

When Paul is not building mobile and web apps, or filing pages in a sketchbook, he likes spending time with his dog (Scout) at the lake, running marathons, bicycling, hiking, camping, and fishing.
