Seminar Sketch Walks

Missed registration?  Need a break from classes?  You’re in luck!

Join the USk Chicago volunteer team and other sketchers on a series of FREE sketch walks.  These are open to all urban sketchers, whether or not you are registered for the Seminar.

Our volunteer guides will lead sketchers on a route through the neighborhoods surrounding our hub at Palette & Chisel.  Each walk is designed to see several notable sites along the route.  The walks are approximately one mile in length, and will end with a throwdown and group photo.

The walks are scheduled to take place at the same time as the Seminar workshops (Saturday morning, 9:30 to 12:30; Saturday afternoon, 2:30 to 5:30; Sunday morning, 9:30 to 12:30 and Sunday afternoon, 2:30 to 5:30).  Our volunteers have designed a different route for each session.  Participants will have plenty of time for sketching at each stop along the way.  Sketch walks will leave from Palette and Chisel – look for the volunteer with the Sketch Walk sign.

Pick one, or spend your whole weekend exploring Chicago’s beautiful Gold Coast!
