Simplify with Soluble Ink

INSTRUCTOR

Mary Jo Ernst

DESCRIPTION

This workshop will show you how to carry little and create more using a simple setup of a soluble ink pen, water brush and paper. After an introduction to the basics of working with soluble ink, students will begin by creating bold, expressive sketches through a series of mark making techniques. These sketches will then be further refined by adding value structure, finishing off with white highlights. Build your confidence and remove the pressure of having to create a “perfect” sketch as you embrace the unpredictable results of soluble ink.
